Gary had an 8 sled-length lead that was growing when he blew a belt on Lap 8 or so. Moyle Racing will figure out this issue before Rock Rapids! Atleast Gary now has some strong, reliable horsepower in his Rotax this year after partnering up with the 440 motor guru John Hooper again!! This is gonna be a great, competitive Champ 440 racing season!! I am excited!! The main thing is that, from what I heard, it was a SAFE weekend at Beausejour!!

What happened to Bewcyk when he was leading? Seemed to have engine smoke happening before he spun.
