valves vs. nonvalves on the zr 500

the polaris 500 would hands down beat the cat. i have raced both the valved and non-valved 500 and they both ate flap. had a 600 chasin my tail lights too...

2000 500 XC SP Clutching

I was looking to do some clutching on my sled but I really have no idea where to start. I was wondering if it's possible to get better acceleration, but maintain or improve top-end at the same time. Any help would be great!

I know that Polaris in the last couple years has put their all into their racing effort, but, is a company supposed to come out and dominate the first couple years they have a new sled? No. Just like everything else it takes a while to get warmed up. And just for your information, I don't blow it up...
