Polaris 700 Compression???????

Postby tjr2u » December 8th, 2013, 1:04 am

I have a1999 Polaris indy 700 xc sp I think it has a dead cylinder it pops when idleing and when you give just a little gas, you can pull one plug wire off and doesn't make a difference but you pull the other one and kills motor. Does anyone know how much compression they should??????

Switch plugs first and try if you haven't already.

Should be in the 115-125 range for compression. If it is within 10 psi of the other cylinder, you should be ok, if not, then it may be the problem.
Recently I was asked to play in a golf tournament.

At first I said, "Naw, I haven't been playing that well."

Then they said to me, "Come on, it's for handicapped and blind kids."

Then I thought...

Chit, I could win this!
